As the Chairperson of Empowering Minds, Godfrey combines extensive legal knowledge with strong communication skills. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws and postgraduate diplomas in Legal Practice and Mass Communication, equipping him with the expertise needed for effective advocacy and strategic decision-making. Godfrey has gained practical experience in legal research, case analysis and media relations, which prepared him to address complex issues effectively. As a committed advocate for youth empowerment and community development, he understands the critical role of education in fostering social advancement.
António Sá Rodrigues
Project Development Director
With a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and a postgraduate degree in Project Management for Development Cooperation, António is currently pursuing a Master’s in Development Studies. As the Director of Project Development, he applies his strong academic background to drive impactful educational initiatives in Tanzania. His international experience in Africa, where he has successfully developed programs that raise awareness among vulnerable communities, promoted significant shifts in mindset among dozens of youth and adults. Committed to promoting gender equality, human rights and access to education, António is an effective communicator with strong organizational skills.
Nchambi Nangale
Executive Secretary
As the Executive Secretary, Nchambi brings a strong academic and professional background, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Education and a Master’s in Education Management and Administration from the University of Dar es Salaam. With extensive teaching experience, she excels in academic program management, student advising and fostering collaborative relationships with students, parents and educators. Nchambi´s commitment to student well-being is evident in her presence in mental health conferences and workshops. Known for her adaptability and problem-solving skills, she tailors environments that inspire and support educational growth.
Simon Hussein
Director of Finance
With a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and extensive experience across both nonprofit and private sectors, our Director of Finance is skilled in comprehensive budget planning, financial analysis and strategic cost management. He brings a track record in overseeing complex financial operations, including budgeting, project accounting and expenditure control, all fundamental in driving financial accuracy and transparency within the organization. Known for his precision, adaptability and commitment to compliance, Simon combines strong leadership with a strategic approach to resource optimization, ensuring that our organization reaches financial sustainability and growth.
Casto Kayombo
Director of Strategic Partnerships
As the Director of Strategic Partnerships, Casto leverages his extensive background in youth empowerment to build impactful collaborations that enhance educational initiatives. He possesses strong leadership skills, demonstrated through his success in founding the Sustainable World Initiatives and building major programs that engage youth in meaningful environmental actions. Kulwa Ng’Homango
